Indian dishes using schwarzwurzeln /salsify

I just love to explore new vegetables. Last week I picked  schwarzwurzeln /salsify from market. When I came back home from market was very curious to know the texture and raw taste of this vegetable. After I peeled ,chopped and tasted this veggie, thought of trying two most common dishes of south India using this vegetable, They are  "Majjige huli/yogurt curry/majjige pulusu/ moru kolambu" and simple poriyal/palya/dry curry. Both the dishes came out very well. So thought of sharing it with you all. 
Both the dishes go well with Rice.
