Avocado Veggie Sandwich

I tried avocado for the first time and it came out very well .Its a heavenly taste :-)


Ingredients :

4 slices of bread
little salt
1 tsp lemon juice
half green chilly chopped into tiny pieces (to reduce the hotness , remove the seeds if you feel the chilly is very hot .Add chilly accordingly as per your desired level of hotness)
one medium size tomato chopped into thin slices
4 tsp butter 
2 rosenkohl / any vegetable which belongs to group of cabbage (2-3 big leaves slit into 2-3 pieces) 
1/4 tsp of red chilly flakes (optional)


How to Prepare?
  • Lets prepare the avocado paste first.Cut the avocado in half and remove the seed . Scoop out the flesh and put it in a mixing bowl. Now smash the flesh in a fork and add salt,  lemon juice and green chilly to it and mix it well. Keep this paste aside.
  • Take two slices of bread and  grease inner side of it with butter.
  • Spread the avocado paste on one slice of bread , and keep 2-3 pieces of rosenkohl leaf , two thin slices of tomato and top with other slice of bread. Sprinkle red chilly flakes if you like before topping with bread.
  • Repeat the method for other two slices of bread too.
  • Toast these in a bread toaster and cut it diagonally. 
Note:
  • You can use other veggies of your choice like lettuce , cucumber .
  • Instead of butter you can use cheese if you like.
  • Instead of toasting the bread along with veggies , you can also toast the bread alone first and then spread the avocado paste and veggies on them later. With this you can enjoy the raw smell/taste of veggies and avocado .!!
